Recommended Lube Plate for B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch

Question:
The dia is 13 inches on the B+W hitch. The Mor/ryde is 13 and half wide. Why would it not be best to use the 12 inch lube plate? More surface area for # distribution would seam better ???

For your B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3500 and MOR/ryde Pin Box, you can certainly use the larger diameter Lube Plate # RP83001. This 12 inch diameter plate will work just fine on higher capacity hitches like your B&W and there will not be any issues with edges of the plate extending beyond the skid plate. As you mentioned in your question, the head on the B&W hitch is large enough to accommodate the 12 inch plate.
This will indeed allow for more surface area for lubrication when using the plate with your trailer. I have also included a short video demonstration on this product that you can take a look at.
