Question:
Hi, Does the Class III 2x2 receiver for the KIA 2011 Sportage also work for the KIA 2011 Sportage Turbo SX? I am asking since the turbo seems to have a different exhaust layout? Thanks

Expert Reply:
Hidden Hitch, Draw-Tite and Curt now make hitches that are compatible with the SX turbo model, although that wasn't always the case.
I'd recommend the Curt Class III hitch, part # C13120 because it has the highest tongue weight capacity at 525 lbs and is the least expensive option. Curt makes a high quality product, so the fact that you'll save a dollar or three won't mean you have to compromise anything.
If you'll be towing with the hitch, you'll also need the following accessories:
Trailer wiring harness, part # 118526
Ballmount, part # C45030
1-7/8 inch trailer ball, part # 19260
2 inch trailer ball, part # 63845
Locking hitch pin, part # e98882
If you click the provided links, you can see install videos for the hitch and the wiring.
