Can Solera Awning Rail Be Installed with the Screws Facing Downward

Question:
In the installation video, they install the awning track/rail with the screw flange up? Can it be installed with the screw flange down so the fasteners are below the fabric and also protected?

The only issue you might come across with the Solera awning # LCV000165062 is that there will be more stress put on different parts of the awning rail, since the connection point will be at the top rather than the bottom. However, there's no other reason you couldn't install the rail with the screws facing downward.
