Question:

My tires are 1and 5/8s space Im having a time trying to get the chock between the tires . air pressure we are in the desert thanx

The chock kit part # UF21-001091 is designed to fit tire spaces from 1 inch to 10-1/2 inch. If you have 1-5/8 inches this should work well with that.

Tire pressure for the tire should be the max pressure listed on the sidewall. You'd want to inflate them when cold.

As a general rule of thumb it is recommended to keep a minimum of 4 inches between the front and rear tires of a tandem axle trailer. I would recommend finding a way to get the distance between your larger. You may need to downsize to a smaller tire size.
