Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class II - 1-1/4" Item # C12165 is designed to fit a 2015 - 2016 Hyundai Genesis Sedan, as long as it is not an all wheel drive model, as well as the 2017 Genesis G80. Based on your description, rear wheel drive, the hitch will fit.
