When hooking up boat trailer my right tail light not working an marking lights are dim.my plug in gets hot 4flat plug

The right taillight/stoplight assembly has a weak ground. What you need to do is improve the ground of that assembly and it'll start working like it should. You can try cleaning how it attaches to the trailer if it grounds through the mounting hardware or you can run a ground wire back from the main ground wire of the trailer to the trailer connector.
