What is the Height and Width of Cross Tube on Curt Trailer Hitch C12038 for a 2005 Subaru Forester

Question:
What are the dimensions of the crossbar? Id like to try to mount stabilizer arms, steps and/or perhaps spare bike wheels mounts to each side of the receiver. Thanks.

I went out to the warehouse to measure Curt trailer hitch # C12038 for your 2005 Subaru Forester. The cross tube is 2-1/2 inches front to back and 1-1/2 inches tall. I have included a picture illustrating these measurements for you. I have also linked a video showing an example installation.
