Question:
Is the Blue Ox Sway Pro system compatible with a trailer with surge brakes? What is the difference between the bolted/clamp on versions? BXW0751 vs BXW0756

Expert Reply:
Both of the Blue Ox weight distribution systems part # BXW0756 and # BXW0751 are compatible with surge brake trailers.
The difference between the two is the bracket style like you mentioned. The clamp on is going to be much easier and less invasive to install but the bolt on is more universal. The bracket has several bolt holes that allow the bolts to be ran through in varying positions to allow for more flexibility. However, the bolt on is no longer available.
