Question:
I want to add to my existing factory transmission cooler. When installing the Derale Transmission cooler #D13504 using the radiator adapter fittings Part # D13025 on my 2002 F 250 7.3L Powerstroke diesel, will the radiator adapter fittings allow the original equipment[factory] cooler AND the Derale cooler to be used TOGETHER in order to increase my cooling capacity?

Yes, you could use the Derale Radiator Adapter Fittings for Ford, part # D13025, to allow you to use Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit, part # D13504, with the factory cooler that is on your 2002 Ford Super Duty truck.
You would want to route the Derale cooler after the factory cooler. By that I mean you would want to run the transmission coolant line from the transmission, to the factory cooler, then to the # 23785, and finally back to the transmission cooler.
Routing the coolers in that order is crucial, if you were to run the # 23785 before the factory cooler you would effectively be cooling the fluid and then reheating it as it would go through the factory cooler which will be the same temperature as your engine coolant.
I attached an FAQ article on transmission coolers below for you to check out.
