Carrier Recommendation for Paddleboard instead of J-Style Rack

Question:
My boyfriend just ordered my J hook racks for my 2005 Saab 9-3 and I want to be able to transport my paddle board and kayak. Did he order the correct rack for what Ill be using it for?

J-hook racks are typically used for carrying kayaks but not paddleboards. We typically recommend the Thule # TH810001 for carrying paddleboards as it works very well for that.
