Question:

I want a tow bar for a 2006 Volvo xc70. I see the draw tite and curt. Does either extend further back, closer to the back edge of the bumper? Or are they positioned about the same? Thanks.

Since the Curt # C12318 and Draw-Tite # 36297 trailer hitches attach to the same place on your 2006 Volvo XC70, the receivers will be very similar. They will measures approximately 4 inches form the center of the hitch pin hole to the back edge of the bumper.

I recommend the Draw-Tite # 36297 hitch because it does not require a stabilizing strap like part # 18050 as the Curt hitch does.

Both are Class ll hitches and have 1-1/4 inch receiver openings.
