Question:

I have a series 28 Kwikee electric step on my 2004 Georgie Bob RV. The motor will not shut off. Do you know what causes that and what the replacement parts would be for that unit? Thanks

I spoke with my contact at Lippert regarding your Kwikee 28 Series Single Electric Step # LC3747452. He stated that the most likely cause for the motor not to shut off on your unit is a faulty gear. The damaged part is simply not able to offer any resistance to shut the motor off.

For a Replacement Repair Kit, you will want to use part # LC379769. This is designed for the Series 28 Electric Step and includes the integrated motor, gearbox, linkage and control unit.
