Will this hitch fit a Jetta TDI diesel sedan?

I spoke with my contact at Curt and he stated that Trailer Hitch # C11474 will not fit the TDI version of your 2009 Volkswagen Jetta. We have a hitch that fits the 2009 Jetta SportWagen TDI, but not the diesel version of the Jetta.
Instead, we can offer you trunk-mounted bike racks or roof racks for cargo if that would help. Please let me know your goals and I can help get you all set.
