Question:

What is the center-to-center distance of the square holes on the bracket 853-5513? What is the center-to-center distance between the two holes of the gasket 14825? Also, what are the hole diameters? What is the center-to-center distance between the two square holes, 853-0333-02? Also, which size carriage bolt is the square hole intended to work with?

On the Replacement Metal Bracket, # 853-5513, the center to center distance between the bolt holes is 3-15/16 inches. It replaces 1 metal bracket for Thule roof-mounted watersport carriers or Wheel-On bike-wheel carrier.

For the (discontinued) Rubber Gasket 14825, the center to center distance between the two holes is 3-9/16 inches. The holes are 5/16 inches in diameter. It replaces 1 missing or damaged rubber gasket on Thule Excursion ES, Frontier ES or Mountaineer ES roof-mounted cargo box.

The Replacement Washer Plate, # 853-0333-02, has a center to center bolt hole distance of 1-9/16 inches. The holes will accept a bolt no larger than 1/4 inch. It replaces a lost or damaged washer plate for the Thule Echelon or Big Mouth roof-mounted bike rack.
