Can Yakima Bike Rack be Used With Multipurpose Ball Mount

Reno H states: The SwingDaddy should not be used in an adapter because of the weight. By adapter, is he referring to the receiver portion of the dual hitch? If so, why would the weight of the SwingDaddy be too much?

I spoke with a representative of Yakima, and they told me their bike rack could, in fact, be used with a multi-purpose ball mount such as the Curt # D210.
