How Much Does the Thule Hullavator Pro Weigh

Question:

In one of your answers, you state the Hullivator as 20#. In most of the specs Ive read, its stated as 39.7 With the recommended load limit of thule racks at 165, the extra 20 lbs per hullivator limits you to only one kayak. Which hullivator weight is correct?

The correct weight of the Thule Hullavator Pro # TH898 is 39.7 pounds

The weight capacity of a roof rack will limit how much can be carried on it for sure. As will the weight capacity of the vehicle's roof which is often less than the rack and the actual limiting factor.
