Question:
Is there a kit for adding a 7-way trailer connector in the bed of a 2005 Tundra and leaving the OEM in place. I was hoping the put a Y or T where the OEM one connects now and take a plug and install in the bed wall and plug it in instead of splicing wires. Let me know it this item exists or not.

For the 2005 Toyota Tundra with factory installed 7-Way trailer connector, a custom fit 5th wheel/gooseneck truck bed wiring harness that plugs in line with the factory wiring is not available. but there are options.
If your existing connector does not have the round connector plugged into the back, you will need to splice in a harness like the 7-Way Pre-Wired Connector, item # 20023, see video link. Another option would be to use an extension like the 7-Way Connector 7 foot Loop, item # 20027, which could be installed inside the bed. You could then use wire ties to keep the connector and wiring secure when not towing a fifth-wheel or gooseneck trailer.
