Question:
I have a 2017 Chevy Bolt. You have two receiver hitches for this: Draw-Tite Class I Sport Frame Receiver Hitch and Curt Class I Receiver Hitch . The Draw-Tite is rated for 200 lbs. and is less expensive. The other one is rated for 100 lbs. but has a lot of good reviews. I have two questions. 1 How much does your Hollywood Racks Traveler 3 Bike Carrier for 2inch Hitches - Tilting rack weigh? 2 Which receiver hitch do you recommend if I dont absolutely need more than 100 lbs.? Is the Draw-Tite sturdier? Thanks.

If you have a 2017 Chevy Bolt, that is not the EV, we don't have a hitch that is confirmed to fit. If you have the 2017 Chevy Bolt EV, then the hitches you mentioned are confirmed to fit.
I recommend the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # 24956 over the Curt trailer hitch receiver because it is sturdier and can handle double the weight capacity for your bike rack.
A Class 1 hitch will limit your bike rack options due to the shank size and the capacity of the hitch. A Class 1 hitch will limit you to only 2 bikes even if the bike rack has 3 spots or more. The Hollywood Racks Traveler 3 will not work with your Class 1 hitch. It is only compatible with Class II and III.
The bike rack I recommend for you is the Swagman Chinook 2-Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting # S64683. It is compatible with Class I hitches and has a great design allowing you to easily load and unload bikes and lock them in place. You also can tilt the rack away with bikes installed to gain cargo access. This rack weighs about 47 lbs.
There are not compatible trunk mounted bike racks for this vehicle yet or roof rack options, so you will be limited to 2 bikes.
