Question:
I am a looking for a procedure for replacing an attic roof vent ~6. Especially the removal of the existing sealant. The roof system is a PVC roof. What type of sealant is recommended for the new installation.

Depending on the sealant that was used for the installation of the roof vent you have in your attic, you will probably need a putty knife to remove the old sealant. Some of the sealants used can be pretty tough to take off.
We carry one round vent for trailers and it has a fan included. This is part # VP-543SP. The rough opening size needed for this vent is 6-1/4 inches.
For the installation of a vent we recommend a kit like part # 344270KITW. This includes the screws, Butyl tape, and sealant.
