Installing Kats Heater KH11813 On 2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid

Question:

I bought the Kats engine block heater from your online store. Where is the hole in the 2016 RAV4 Hybrid engine block to mount this heater? I looked everywhere using a flashlight and inspection mirror. Do I have to remove anything to access the mounting hole?Kats KH11813 on 2016 RAV4 hybrid

On your 2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, the installation location of the Kats Heater # KH11813 is the rear left side. I've attached a diagram to help.

To install your will first locate cartridge hole on the engine block, and then clean cartridge hole of all debris using compressed air. Next, you will attach the cord to heater and install heater into the hole. Make sure to rotate the clip on the cord to the
proper position to secure the heater and cord to the engine block and heater. Then you simply route the cord through the grill, using cable ties to prevent the cord from getting in contact with any hot or moving parts.
