7-Way Adapter Recommendation for Land Rover LR4 For Allowing Trailer w LED Taillights to be Towed

Question:

hi there, Our tow vehicle is a 2012 Land Rover LR4. Our trailer is a 2017 RPod which has LED lights all round. The tail lights could be retrofitted, but its not straightforward. We have a trailer brake installed. While all of the trailers functions work correctly, turn signals, brakes etc There is functionality on the tow vehicle that is not activated air suspension settings because the vehicle is not sensing load on the lighting circuit. This is our only issue. Is there a straightforward way to either put load resistors inline or to add a 7 pin to 7 pin adapter with an inbuilt load resistor? Thanks!

We have an adapter that is designed for exactly what you need. The Curt 7-way adapter part # C57003 is a 7-way that has diodes built into the taillight circuits so that your Land Rover will sense the needed voltage for it to register that a trailer is connected.
