Hello, I have a 2011 Audi A4 Sedan. No bars, naked roof. Looking for quiet roof mount for kayak. Preferably all under $500 if possible.

For a roof rack capable of hauling a kayak and kayak carrier, I recommend using the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars part # RRVA118B-2, part # RRRLKVA, and part # DK208 in addition to our Thule DockGrip Kayak Carrier part # TH895. This will be the best option for your budget and as far as noise reduction goes as the aero bars will provide a much quieter ride in comparison to round/square cross bars.
Another more economical option involves our Inno Square Crossbar Roof Rack part # INB127, part # INSUT, and part # INK871 though, will not be as quiet as the aero bar system. The Inno Roof Rack system is an excellent budget choice when choosing to haul roof mounted accessories.
