I called the TracRac website phone number and spoke with the Thule representative. She gave me this part number for the 2017 Ford Sup Duty F250 Shortbed 81 inches: Track Rack Base Rail : part # 21785 Track Rack SR Sliding, Overhead Rack : part # 43003 Track Rack Cantilever Over-the-Cab Extension : part # 24002 She told me the new SR base rails were currently in distribution. Can you tell me when your on-line ordering system will have the new 2017 base rail part #s available for purchase? Thanks.

The part number you are going to need is the # TH43003XT-785EX which is the TracRac Sliding Ladder Rack System with Cantilever Extension confirmed to fit your 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty short bed. If instead you were to want the rack without the overhead extension you would want the part # TH43003XT-785EX.
