Question:

I have the 12000 lb equalizer system. I believe this might be oversized for my trailer 640 dry tongue weight, 7500 lb GVWR. Im pulling with an F150. Can i use the 10,000 lb spring arms on the 12,000 lb hitch head?

The Replacement Spring Bars for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems - Qty 2 - 1,000 lbs TW - # EQ90-01-1099 are 35-1/2 inches x 1-1/2 inches so they can be used with the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control - 12,000 lbs GTW, 1,200 lbs TW # EQ37120ET head and brackets.

Replacing these spring bars will lower your capacity and in this case, give you a smoother and more controlled ride.
