Recommended SumoSprings Suspension Enhancement for Class C Motorhome on Ford E-450 Chassis

Question:

I have a 2007 Born Free Class C motorhome on a Ford E450 chassis. The total weight is 12340 - 3400 front axle and 8940 on the rear axle - per local Cat scale. The coach came with some brand of inflatable air bags. I would like to install SumoSprings on the front and back removing the air bags. Which models would you recommend?

For your Born Free Class C Motorhome on a 2007 Ford E450 chassis, I recommend going with the SumoSprings Maxim Custom Helper Springs # SSR-106-47-1 with 4,600 pound capacity for the rear axle and the 1,000 pound # SSF-106-47 for the front axle.

These we do a great job at upgrading the suspension on your 12,340 pound motorhome. The SummoSprings feature progressive load control which will compress according to the weight of your cargo. All the necessary hardware is included for an easy bolt-on installation.
