The Info references a 6ft bedI have a 2010 crew cab 1500 with 5.5ft Rambox Will this kit fit my application

Since your 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 has the 5-1/2 foot bed with the Ram Box feature there are special requirements if you want to tow a 5th wheel trailer. Basically you will need to replace the factory pin box on the trailer with a Sidewinder. The Sidewinder moves the trailer pivot point back 22 inches and the narrow bed on Ram Box models won't be a factor because the arm of the Sidewinder stays straight and won't hit the bed sides on turns.

Before anything else we have to see if there is a Sidewinder that will fit your trailer. For that I will need to know the manufacturer and model number of the pin box. This information is usually on a sticker or plate on the pin box itself. I have also linked a help article that shows how to measure to determine the pin box model if there isn't a sticker or plate.

Next you will need an installation kit. Curt does not offer a fit for the 5-1/2 foot beds but you can use Reese custom installation kit # RP50142-58. And for a hitch you can use the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Slide Bar Jaw - 16,000 lbs # C16115 with Wedge # RP64FR.

With a fixed hitch like those mentioned above and a Sidewinder pin box you will be able to tow a 5th wheel trailer without the pin box hitting the truck bed sides.
