Question:

Hello I hope you can help... it seems I put the cart before the horse! I ordered a 2017 Buick Envision back in the Fall and finally took delivery last month everything I had read looked like it would be an excellent solution to tow behind our Airstream Interstate. It wasnt until today almost a week AFTER I dropped my car off at the mechanic to have the Blue Ox base plate installed on my vehicle. Today I found that because I have Adaptive Cruise Control, the Blue Ox base plate wont fit. Is there ANY option I see now that this Roadmaster base plate says no ACC that will work for my car? If not, I now own a car purchased for a specific reason that is worthless.

Unfortunately at this point there is not a baseplate that will allow for the adaptive cruise control. I have a solution for you if it is a front wheel drive vehicle, but not if it is an all wheel drive vehicle. If it is front wheel drive, your owners manual states that you can tow it with the front wheels off the ground. I recommend the Roadmaster Tow Dolly with Electric Brakes - 4,250 lbs # RM-2050-1. A tow dolly is really your only option, other than a trailer, so I hope you have a front wheel drive vehicle.
