Can J Style kayak racks mount onto the Erickson EM07705 truck rack?

The crossbars on the Erickson Truck Bed Ladder Rack # EM07705 measure 3-1/4 inches wide and at the tallest part of the crossbar they are 1-1/4 inches tall.
These crossbars are more of a triangle shape so the peak in the middle as you can see in the attached photo.
From the measurements on the photo you sent of your kayak J Style rack, the ladder rack will not be compatible.
I recommend using the tie-downs on the ladder rack and pads like part # RRRWP03. For tie-downs I recommend part # TH855XT.
