Question:

I have a older model swagman bike carrier similar to the chinook,rather heavy.My question is this will this carrier work on a Honda HRV with the Drawtight hitch?

This particular carrier will fit both 1-1/4 inch and 2 inch trailer hitch receivers, so there will be no compatibility issues with the hitch receiver on your vehicle.

This is a great rack that will hold up to 2 bikes at 45 pounds each. It includes locks to secure the bikes to the rack and the rack to your vehicle. A great feature on this rack is the spring-loaded levers that will let you tilt the rack down or fold it up with ease.

The closest part of this rack to the center of the trailer hitch pin hole when folded up for storage is 6 inches. You can take a simple measurement from the center of the hitch pin hole on your trailer hitch to the outer most edge of your bumper just to ensure there will be enough bumper clearance when the rack is folded up.
