Question:
2015 Toyota Prius: The Draw tight hitch seems to extend out farther and is 1inch lower than the Curt hitch. Am I correct is this observation? Since these are important considerations for me is the Curt hitch better for me.

The Curt # C11276 and Draw-Tite # 24847 are the two trailer hitch receivers confirmed to fit your 2015 Toyota Prius.
Between the two the Curt is the one we have installed on a 2015 Prius. We've installed the Draw-Tite on a 2010, 2011, 2013, and 2014 but not a 2015. You'll need to keep this in mind when comparing measurements between the two.
For example, even the Draw-Tite when installed on the 2014 measures 1-1/4 inches from the hitch pin hole to the outer most point on the bumper and it's 11 inches from the ground to the top of the receiver. The same hitch installed on a 2013 Prius is 1-1/2 inches from the hitch pin hole to edge of the bumper and 11-1/4 inches from the ground to the top of the receiver tube.
I went to our warehouse and measured the two to compare them against each other. The ground clearance is only about 1/16 of an inch different with the Draw-Tite being higher off the ground. However, the Draw-Tite also sticks out further from the bumper about 3/4 of an inch.
With that being said, if the Curt's measurements of 1-3/4 inches from hitch pin hole to the bumper's edge and the 12 inches from ground to top of the receiver is what you need then that's the correct hitch for you.
If you're going to be carrying an accessory like a bike rack or cargo carrier with the hitch, and not towing a trailer, you should know Curt requires you use a support strap, # 18050, to be compliant with the hitch's warranty.
