Question:
My current tires are ST205-75R15, load range C for my enclosed trailer. Weight approx 2000-2500 lbs. Driving approx 20,000 miles per year. I am ready to renew all four tires, should I go with the same tires or a different load range D? Also throughout the year I had to plug 3 out 4 tires due to nails/slow leaks. What do you suggest?

Expert Reply:
If you have 4 load range C, ST205/75-15 tires, that is more than enough for 2,000 to 2,500 pounds. Each tire should have a capacity of 1,820 pounds at 50 psi. Trailer tires should always be inflated to their maximum psi rating for best performance and longest life.
Radial tires are going to track better and give you a better ride without sacrificing durability. I recommend going with Karrier ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range C, # AM10244, if you just want tires. If you want wheel and tire combos, then I will need to know the bolt pattern of your existing 15 inch rim. I have included a couple of FAQ articles that explain how to measure a tire and how to determine bolt pattern for reference.
