Does Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA Come with Drums

Question:

Do these brakes come with the drums, or do I have to buy those separate? I just built the trailer and it has no brakes on them. I have built several but all the others had brakes on them already.

Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA includes the left and right side assemblies but not the drums. We have numerous drums available for 3,500 pound trailer axles. I have included a link to them for you.

You mentioned adding brakes to the trailer. If the trailer does not already have brake mounting flanges on the axle(s) then those will have to be added. Adding them is a precision job that requires someone with experience to weld them on. I have included a link to our help article that covers what is needed to add electric brakes to a trailer.
