I have a Tekonsha IQ and need the wire adapter for a 2007 chevy Avalanche.

Your Tekonsha Primus IQ part # TK90160 can install in your 2007 Chevy Avalanche pretty easily but there isn't a connector under the dash for installing the controller. You will connect the brake controller wiring with the vehicle wiring already present under the dash.
If you check out the link I attached you will see a guide for installing a controller in a truck just like yours.
