Question:
I read your FAQ about how to pick a spare tire and still confused which one I need. Im preparing for a cross country road trip with my Jayco tent camper and want to know what I should do to my tires to make sure they are good to go.

For a spare tire, I recommend the Kenda 5.70-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" White Wheel - 4 on 4 - Load Range C # AM30120. I don't see the important info on those tires, but the very similar tires like this spare are rated to be 75 psi inflated cold (meaning before a few miles of road friction warms them up. These tires are also rated to be used at 65 mph max.
Looking at your old tires and the price point of these new ones, I recommend you replace your old ones before going cross country. That will also help you with a warranty if anything were to happen on your journey.
