Recommendation for a Trailer Ball Mount with an 11 Inch Drop For a Motor Home Towing a Tow Dolly

Question:
Manufacturer of the car towdolly we will pull specifies that bottom of coupler be 14 from level ground. Our motor home meaures 25 1/2 from ground to top of the receiver 2 hole. Have a 2 ball. Will this 11 ball mount do the the job?

The Hidden Hitch Ball Mount, # 80248, with the 11 inch drop would be a good choice. The 11 inch drop will put you right about where you need to be (14 inches from the ground). It will actually be a little higher at 14.5 inches but the tongue weight from the tow dolly should take care of that. Keep in mind that this ball mount is rated for 5,000 pounds gross trailer weight and 500 pounds tongue weight. That includes both the tow dolly and everything that is loaded on it.
