Is The Center Section Of A B&W Gooseneck Hitch From A 2008 Ram 1500 Compatible With 2011 Chevy 3500?

I had a b and w gooseneck hitch on my 2008 dodge ram 1500, if I buy this will I be able to use the middle section off my current hitch and pair it with this peice ?

The B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Custom Installation Kit for Chevy/GMC # BWGNRM1012 will not allow you to use the middle section off your current hitch. I reached out to my contact at B&W and the center sections for those two hitches are not identical measurements and capacities. Your 2008 Ram 1500 used a number 900 center section and the 2011 Chevy Silverado 3500 uses a number 912 center section, so they are not compatible.
You will need to get an entire new system, and the confirmed fit is the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs # BWGNRK1012. You may also want to consider adding a second 7-way trailer connection in the bed of your truck using the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Wiring Harness 7-Pole # C56000.
