Can the Cable on Valterra Flexible Cable Kit # TC172 be Cut Shorter

Question:
with the 72 inch cable on the cable actuated valve...will I be able to cut the length of thecable down to 10 inches or so?

The cable part of Valterra Flexible Cable Kit # TC172 is not already installed so you could cut it to length if you wanted or needed to in order to get it positioned where you want it.
