Does Trailer Wiring for 2014 Ford Transit Connect work with LED Trailer Lighting
Published 03/30/2017 >
Question:
I want to buy a trailer for my 2014 Transit Connect Wagon, but the owners manual specifies: Trailer Lighting The electrical system on your vehicle is not suitable for towing trailers with LED lamps. Have you heard of this before and what can I do to work around this.

That sounds like an issue that factory trailer wiring would have if it was installed in your 2014 Ford Transit Connect.
I can tell you that if you install the Tekonsha part # 118613 which is confirmed as a fit for your vehicle it will easily work with trailer's that have LED taillights. It has been tested with this style of lighting as well as incandescent and it works great.
