Question:
Its a Journey model # 527408045 approx. 7 yrs. old. I lost my manual and want to set it up for a new trailer. Is there a manual on line. If not what is the procedure? It has a manual slide, a power knob on the right and another knob on the left.

I am not familiar with the Journey Trailer Brake Controller, so all I can do is give you some very basic set up helps. I've attached some articles on installation, troubleshooting, and testing brake controllers to assist. I recommend using an incandescent circuit tester like # PTW2993 to determine the wire functions before you begin splicing.
If you determine you need a different brake controller so we can help further with installation on your vehicle, I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. This is an easy to use and simple to understand brake controller that has an LCD screen. There is no code deciphering and it is customizable for your preferences.
