Transmission Cooler Fit For 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500

Question:

Wanting a transmission cooler for 2016 Chevy Silverado with 4.3L engine. The Derale 13504 is mentioned as a guarantee fit. What does that mean? I wont need extra hose? There is a recommended location in front of radiator? Instructions are explicit for the 2016 Chevy Silverado? Just wanting no surprise. Thanks.

Transmission coolers like the part # D13504 are universal fit for almost all vehicles. As long as your vehicle has external transmission lines and has the room for the cooler to mount in front of the radiator (this cooler measures 11" Wide x 12" tall x 7/8" deep) it will fit.

We happen to know your 2016 Chevy Silverado does match the above mentioned criteria. No other adapters would be needed.

I attached a link to an install video that shows a similar cooler installed in an older Silverado for you to check out. The process will be similar.
