Question:
Hello Im an owner of Subaru Outback 2008. I have this product Curt C12284 Do you think the CURT 58000 Easy Mount Electrical Bracket for 2inch Receiver Tube will fit to my trailer hitch ? Or I need something else ?

Expert Reply:
Curt Easy Mount Wiring Bracket # C58000 is meant for 2-inch hitches, so for your 1-1/4-inch Class II hitch # C12284 you are better off using # C58002 for a 4-pole flat type trailer connector. Or, you can leave the wiring inside the car when you are not towing to protect the connector from damage and corrosion. Applying dielectric grease # 11755 to all connectors also helps prevent corrosion.
