Question:

I have a 2003 Chevy Express 3500 Cargo van extended version with a box frame. According to Air Lifts website this product only fits passenger vans with a boxed frame, not cargo. Can you verify that this will fit? Thanks

The Air Lift website fit guide shows that for the 2003 Chevrolet Express 3500 on the commercial chassis there are two rear axle air bag kits, both of which fit the cutaway chassis with C-channel frame.

My contact at Air Lift advised that for your 2003 Express 3500 Cargo van with extended box frame there is no kit offered.

I also contacted the folks at Timbren, who make zero-maintenance rear-axle jounce spring kits, and my contact there confirmed that kit # TGMRG35 will work on your extended box frame cargo van. Timbren springs cost less than air bag systems, are easier to install (no drilling!) and require absolutely no maintenance, unlike air bags. This kit fits 2WD and 4WD versions.
