Could Dutton Lainson Winch Fit Boat Winch Mount that Measures 3 inches Wide and 5 inches Long

Question:

I have the standard boat winch for my G3 176 the mount is 3 inches wide an 5 inches long there are only three mount bolt for the winch is it possible to mount the 3500# winch to this mount.. can I get a better pic of the bolt hole dimensions

I went out to our warehouse and measured the mounting base for the Dutton-Lainson Trailer Winch, item # DL14881. The flat part of the base measures 8-3/8 inches long by 5 inches wide. The elongated bolt hole at one end of the winch is 1-7/8 inches long and the 4 elongated holes at the other end are 1 inch long. The two round holes are 3/8 inch diameter. The distance on center between the long elongated hole and the first set of shorter elongated holes is 4-1/8 inches. The distance between the long elongated hole and the second, farthest, set of shorter elongated holes is 5-7/8 inches. I have provided a photo with all of the dimensions added so you can see the exact mounting pattern.

Based on your dimensions the slots of the winch it would easily mount to the bolt pattern of your boat.
