Question:
I would like to top off the grease in my dexter hubs of 2016 my forest river travel trailer. What grease do you recommend? How often should this be necessary? I have owned the trailer for two years and only have approximately 3000 miles on it. Thanks

Repacking your trailer hub bearings with grease and also checking for damage or wear is recommended every 12 months or 12,000 miles. I have also attached a helpful trailer maintenance schedule for you to look at.
I recommend using the Prime Guard Wheel Bearing Hi-Temp Red Grease # L11380. This is a polyurea-based grease that meets high-temperature requirements for all disc and drum brakes and is great for wheel bearings, too. To avoid any compatibility issues, you may want to first clean all of the existing grease first before adding any new grease. I have included an article that includes a compatibility chart for you to check out.
