Question:
Hello, Since none of these white back up lights state lumes, is it safe to assume the more diodes the brighter the light? Is there really a difference between 4-1/4inch and 4-5/16inch diameter lights? I havent measured my current light but does 1/16inch really make a difference? Im needing a back up light for my trucks service body. This says trailer light, does it matter if I use it on my truck? Just looking for something really bright.

It is pretty safe to assume that the more diodes in an LED light the brighter it will be. The only time that is not necessarily true is if one light has large diodes and the other doesn't. But any way you slice it light # BUL53CB and its 36 diodes is going to be bright.
In this case, for all intents and purposes, a 4-5/16 inch and 4-1/4 inch diameter won't make a difference.
The light can be used on your truck. In fact a lot of people use lights like this and other trailer lights on flat bed conversions, service bodies, and other non-trailer applications.
For the above light I also recommend grommet # A45GB and wiring pigtail # A45CB.
