Recommended Roof Rack and Bike Rack for a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 With an Extended Cab

Rhino-Rack has a roof mounted bike rack that will fit perfectly for what you are needing for your 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Extended Cab.

I like the Rhino-Rack Hybrid Roof Bike Rack, part # RRRBC050, because it is one of our roof mounted bike racks that you can put a bike on without having to take the front wheel off. It fits bikes with 20 inch - 29 inch wheels and can even work with road tires or 2.7 inch wide mountain bike tires. It also includes 3 locks to secure your bike to the bike rack and the bike rack to your crossbars to help deter theft.

If your Silverado does not already have a roof rack installed, I also recommend getting the Rhino-Rack Vortex Areo Crossbars, part # RRVA137S-2, which you will use with the 2500 Series Legs, part # RRRLKVA, and the Custom DK Fit Kit, part # DK227. This roof rack also includes locks to deter theft of your roof rack.

To use the same key for all of the Rhino-Rack locks you can use the Masterkey Lock Barrels, part # RRRK059-8, which will allow you to replace all of the locks on the bike rack and roof rack so that you will use the same key for all of the locks.

If your camper has a ladder on the back, another great option to carry 2 bikes is using the Stromberg Carlson 2 Bike Carrier, part # LA-102. This comes with clamps for the bikes and the rack. If you decide to go with this option I also recommend using the 10 foot Long Cable Lock, part # e98891, for peace of mind and to deter theft if you make a pit stop and are worried about the safety of your bikes.
