What Do I Need to Install a Prodigy P3 Brake Controller in my 2008 Dodge Ram pickup

I am interested to purchase a Prodigy P3 brake Controller for my 2008 Dodge Ram Pickup. Does the cable harness adapter come with the controllerwhen I specified the vehicle type.

If your 2008 Dodge Ram has a factory 7-way connector then you could get a Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller with Wiring for the 2008 Ram Pickup by Dodge, part # 90195 and wiring harness # 3020-P. This custom wiring harness will plug right into your Ram without any cutting or splicing.
However, if you were to just purchase the # 90195 by itself it would not come with the # 3020-P harness that would wire to your Ram.
If you do have a 4-way connector but not a 7-way connector present on your vehicle you will need to first purchase and install a Brake Controller 7 and 4 Way Installation Kit - 10 Gauge, part # ETBC7. I included a video of this product being installed on a vehicle similar below for you to check out.
If you do not have a 4-way connector you will need one. I would recommend the Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring for the 2008 Ram Pickup by Dodge, part # 118381. I attached a video that shows this product being installed below also.
