To avoid towing something you could use a motorcycle carrier like the Ultra-Fab Carrier # UF48-979033. This carrier can be used as long as your motorcycle does not weigh over 500 pounds and your vehicle and hitch have a tongue weight capacity of 500 pounds or more. You can find the hitch weight capacity on the hitch usually and the vehicle capacities in the owners manual.
