How To Adjust Length To Install Camco RV Adjustable Screen Door Cross Bar

Question:
I just ordered this from you and wondering how do you adjust the width of the bar. Do you need to cut an end of to adjust? Thank you.

Camco RV Adjustable Screen Door Cross Bar - Aluminum w/ Black Handles # CAM42183 will adjust from 21-1/4" to 28-5/8 inches long without cutting. The adjustment is done with where you put the included hardware. I've attached a video to help.
If you have a shorter width, then simple cutting would make it functional.
