Question:

I have a class 5 hitch for a 2017 Dodge Ram, but my opening is 3 inches, do you have a product that will fit that?

I'm about to receive a 2020 F250 with 3" hitch. Not sure of how much drop I'll have towing our Pontoon. I've been looking at the Weigh Safe WS6-3 or that model depending on the drop I need. Is the scale going to be water proof? Also I understand that there is a lock for the receiver that is keyed the same as the hitch itself, is that true? If so what is the model. I also understand the the hole for the pin is 5/8", I'm not sure but the hitch on the truck could be 3/4". How do I handle that? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks,

The Weigh Safe Adjustable Ball Mounts mentioned above will work great with the 3" receiver on your soon-to-be new F-250 (congrats!). You'll just want to choose the one based on the amount of drop you end up needing. For the matching locking hitch pin you'll use part # WS05 - which does have a 5/8" diameter. I would try and verify that 3/4" measurement you're getting, as I've not heard of the hitch pin holes being this large. The scale on these ball mounts is completely sealed, so it's able to be submerged and used for boat trailer applications like what you're planning.
